Job summary

OKX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Trading Service to build data-intensive, real-time systems powering a leading crypto exchange. You will design scalable data applications, drive innovation in data foundations, and ensure low latency insights for millions of users.

You will lead high-impact projects, collaborate with product, frontend, QA and Infra teams, and mentor junior engineers while leveraging cutting-edge tech in a fast-paced crypto environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on experience in the big data domain.
• Demonstrated success in delivering data-related solutions.
• Expertise in semi-structure data and data processing pipelines.
• Strong educational background in STEM, preferably Masters in CS or above.
• Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of high-performance, real-time, data-intensive applications for the trading domain.
• Leverage AI coding tools as part of daily engineering workflow to accelerate delivery and quality.
• Drive future-proof innovative data solutions to solve problems at scale.
• Lead projects with an Agile mindset, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, Front End, QA and Infra engineers.
• Uphold best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and data management across the team.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, helping them grow their technical expertise.
