Job summary
OKX is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Trading Service to lead mission-critical, data-intensive projects touching millions of users. You will design and build data applications that deliver precision, speed, and insights for real-time trading and market data.
You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and infra teams, and push innovative data foundations to scale with the evolving crypto markets.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in big data with complex data challenges.
- Experience delivering data solutions at scale.
- Expertise with data processing pipelines and OLAP.
- Strong STEM background and problem-solving.
- Experience with cross-region teams is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of high-performance, real-time, data-intensive applications for the trading domain.
- Leverage AI coding tools as part of daily engineering workflow to accelerate delivery and code quality.
- Drive future-proof innovative data solutions to solve problems at scale.
- Lead projects with an Agile mindset, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, Front End, QA and Infra engineers to get things done.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers to grow technical capabilities.
