Job summary

OKX is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead high-performance data applications within the Trading Service data analytics team. You will shape data foundations, improve accuracy and reduce latency for millions of users, driving scalable solutions in a dynamic crypto exchange environment.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across product and infrastructure teams, and leverage AI tooling to accelerate delivery while upholding code quality and architectural standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in big data domain.
• Proven track record solving complex data challenges.
• Expertise in semi-structured data, data processing pipelines, data modeling, and OLAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of high-performance, real-time data-intensive applications for trading.
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
• Drive future-proof data solutions at scale across multi-region services.
• Lead projects with an Agile mindset and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, Front End, QA, and Infra engineers.
