Job summary

Prudential in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Scrum Master to lead one or two squads within an Agile Release Train. You will coach the squad and Product Owner, remove impediments, and ensure smooth delivery with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with offshore teams, apply SAFe practices, and drive successful PI Planning and System Demos. A strong background in Scrum and Kanban is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years delivering software as Scrum Master or equivalent.
• SAFe Scrum Master or related certification preferred.
• Experience with distributed and multi-vendor teams.
• Familiar with Scrum Guide and SAFe practices.
• Ability to facilitate ceremonies and improve flow.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate team events and coach the squad, Product Owner, and in-squad facilitator.
• Protect squad focus by removing impediments and escalate unresolved issues to RTE within 48 hours.
• Coach and develop people toward self-management and backlog mastery.
• Manage squad flow, WIP limits, and aging work items on the board.
• Ensure vendor engineers participate as full members in events and discussions.
• Prepare ART for PI Planning with objectives, capacity, dependencies, and risks.
• Support System Demo readiness and ensure increments are integrated.
• Uphold quality: facilitate Definition of Done and built-in quality practices.
• Lead retrospectives and share improvements through Coach Sync and communities.
