Job summary

Schindler Lifts (Hong Kong) Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Sales & Tender specialist to support cost estimates, quotation preparation and tender documents for Modernisation projects.

You will work with sales engineering, fulfilment and service teams to hit department targets, liaise with customers and suppliers, and help shape market strategies through analysis. Mandarin and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering or related disciplines.
• Background in Lift/Escalator/Engineering sales, projects or technical fields is welcomed.
• Interest in sales career with tender preparation and direct customer contact considered.
• Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with drive to achieve targets.
• Proactive in market change and strong numerical interpretation.
• Fluent in Chinese and English; SAP and MS Office skills are assets.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales engineering team on cost estimates and quotation preparation.
• Collaborate with fulfilment and other teams to achieve Modernisation targets for volume and profit.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, Branch & Service Operation Manager and Field Supervisors on Modernisation issues.
• Collect market intelligence, perform market analysis and assist in devising sales strategies.

Job description

Work closely with sales engineeringteam in cost estimates, preparation of quotation as well as other tender documents

To work with the other team members and fulfilment team in achievement of department targets for Modernisation sales volume and profit growth, portfolio recovery, etc.

To liaise with customers, suppliers, Branch & Service Operation Manager as well as Field Supervisors and handle enquiries related to Modernisation issues whenever necessary

To collect market intelligence, perform market analysis and assist the Senior Sales Manager, Modernization in devising effective sales strategies

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering or related disciplines
• PreviousLift/Escalator/Engineering background in Sales, project management or technical field are mostly welcomed
• Candidate interested in develop the career in sales and hadparticipated in tender preparation, direct customer contacts,contractual deals and negotiation will be considered
• Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
• Self motivated andstrong drive in target achievement
• Sensitive & proactive in responding to market change
• Detailed on figure interpretation
• Well versed in spoken and written Chinese and English
• Proficiency in MS Applications and solid working knowledge in SAP will be an asset
