Job summary

Leadingnation seeks an Assistant Design Manager / Design Engineer (Lift & Escalator) to lead the design team, coordinating shop drawings in AutoCAD and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks for new lifts and escalators. The role anchors technical documentation and supplier coordination in a dynamic HK project environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2–10 years in lift/escalator design, strong drafting skills, knowledge of local codes, and a proactive, independent work style; MS Office and SolidWorks

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Engineering.
• 8–10 years’ experience in Lift/Escalator design for Assistant Design Manager.
• 2–4 years’ experience in designing mechanical assembly and lift system design for Design Engineer.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; SolidWorks experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of local code of practice.
• Good team player, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design team and coordinate the design and preparation of shop drawings (AutoCAD) and manufacturing drawings (SolidWorks model) for new lift/escalator.
• Prepare technical documentation and update technical drawing for new lift/escalator.
• Provide solution and technical advice to the department.
• Coordinate with supplier/factory for the product specification and follow up product improvement.

• Design, calculate, draw lift/esc production drawing, and coordinate with factory for lift assembly.
• Analysis ad hoc projects modification.
• Provide technical support to operation team.

• Responsibilities:
• Assistant Design Manager:
• Lead the design team and coordinate the design and preparation of shop drawings (AutoCAD) and manufacturing drawings (SolidWorks model) for new lift/escalator
• Prepare technical documentation and update technical drawing for new lift/escalator
• Provide solution and technical advice to the department
• Coordinate with supplier/factory for the product specification and follow up product improvement.
• Design Engineer:
• Conduct for lift/escalator system design and drawings
• Design, calculate, draw lift/esc production drawing, and coordinate with factory for lift assembly
• Analysis ad hoc projects modification
• Provide technical support to operation team
• Salary: $22-38K, bonus, medical

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Engineering disciplines
