Job summary

EY Risk & Resilience in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Associate to deliver high‑impact engagements spanning Board advisory, ERM, risk function transformation and GRC technology implementations. You will work on automated risk monitoring and strengthen control environments across operational and compliance processes.

You will contribute to shaping the future of controls, apply data analytics and AI techniques, and collaborate with teams across industries while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of business processes, internal controls, and risk frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in ICFR (including US SOX), IPO readiness (e.g., PN21), and governance-related projects.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA professional qualifications are required.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese (Mandarin a plus).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with high-growth clients and market leaders across industries to deliver meaningful business impact.
• Support and lead engagements in internal audit, internal controls, compliance reviews, and risk management.
• Apply data analytics and AI-driven techniques to uncover insights and strengthen audit effectiveness.
• Develop practical, value-driven recommendations to improve processes, controls, and risk management.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and understand their business drivers.
• Mentor junior colleagues and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Support innovation by exploring emerging technologies in audit and risk.
• Participate in EY’s corporate responsibility initiatives to create social impact.
