As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact engagements, ranging from Board advisory and next-generation Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), to risk function transformation, GRC technology implementation, and automated risk monitoring. You will also contribute to shaping the future of controls by identifying improvement opportunities across operational and compliance processes.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with high-growth clients and market leaders across industries such as retail, consumer products, media & entertainment, real estate, education, healthcare, and the public sector—delivering work that creates meaningful business and societal impact
- Support and lead engagements in internal audit, internal controls, compliance reviews, and risk management, while helping clients enhance governance structures and processes
- Apply data analytics and AI-driven techniques to uncover insights, detect anomalies, and strengthen audit effectiveness
- Develop practical, value-driven recommendations to improve business processes, controls, and risk management frameworks
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of their business and key performance drivers
- Contribute to team development by mentoring junior colleagues, sharing knowledge, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Support innovation by bringing insights from different engagements and exploring emerging technologies in audit and risk
- Participate in EY’s global corporate responsibility initiatives, using your skills to create positive social impact
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- 2+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field, with a solid understanding of audit methodologies and regulatory requirements
- Strong knowledge of business processes, internal controls, and risk frameworks
- Hands‑on experience in ICFR (including US SOX), IPO readiness (e.g., PN21), and governance‑related projects
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to deliver practical, actionable recommendations
- Strong project management capabilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A proactive mindset with an interest in adopting emerging technologies in audit and risk
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA (required)
- Fluency in English and Cantonese (written and spoken); Mandarin is a plus
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Associate level.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- Exposure to ESG risk management and materiality assessments
- Experience integrating technology into audit processes (e.g., data analytics, RPA, AI)
- Proficiency in tools such as ACL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R
- Experience with GRC platforms (e.g., RSA Archer, SAP GRC, ServiceNow)
- Familiarity with technology risk projects and audit automation
- Knowledge of SQL/database management
