Job summary

EY Hong Kong seeks an experienced Manager for Financial Services Risk Management with a focus on AML. You will lead risk projects, develop ML/GenAI-enabled solutions, and manage client engagements in a fast-paced FS environment.

You will mentor junior staff, drive business development, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality risk management models and insights. Proficiency in English and Chinese is important.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Math/Engineering/Statistics/CS/Data Science/AI).
• Strong background in statistics, quantitative analysis, and SQL.
• Experience with ML/DL tools such as Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MXNet.
• Experience with NLP and large language models.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Ability to work collaboratively and to work independently; multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead AML/financial crime risk projects for financial institutions, delivering risk solutions.
• Manage engagements, client communication, and mentoring junior team members.
• Develop new AML solutions using ML/AI/GenAI and enhance existing models.
• Identify new opportunities and build internal/external relationships.
