Job summary

Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited is seeking a data analytics professional to conduct market research and provide actionable insights for Hong Kong and Mainland markets. The role requires 6-8 years' experience in data analytics, market research, questionnaire design, and reporting, with strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, quantitative analysis, marketing, business, data analysis, or a related discipline
• 6-8 years’ experience in data analytics, business analysis, market research, questionnaire design, report writing, conducting interviews in Hong Kong and/or Chinese Mainland
• Highly proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint, SQL; advanced data handling tools such as Python and applying AI tools in data analytics/analysis and grouping/coding will be a plus
• Knowledge of statistical or analysis tools or BI tools, such as SPSS, VBA
• Strong analytical, numerical sense, logic sense, interpretation, and communication skills
• Good command of verbal and written English and Chinese, fluent Cantonese and Putonghua
• Good business acumen, proactive, self-motivated, detail-minded, fast-learning, adaptive to market changes
• Interest in residential property market and being able to cope with tight deadlines under pressure
• Able to work overtime, during weekends and public holidays, and able to work independently
• Occasional business travel and outdoor & off-site to conduct fieldwork/research is required
• (Candidates with less experience will be considered for Research Officer.)

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research projects throughout the whole process for Hong Kong & Chinese Mainland on customer needs & behaviors, market trends & sentiment, business development etc.
• Preparing research & fieldwork, questionnaire design & drafting and online set-up, conducting appropriate formats of customer interviews, and onsite fieldwork monitoring, in a timely manner
• Leverage effective approaches and analytical tools for data cleaning, grouping, checking, processing, consolidation, and analysis
• Write analytical reports, based on primary research, macro statistics, social media, and other relevant sources
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of datasets, data processing, data coding and output
• Liaise internally across teams and departments and external vendors / agencies on requirements
• Perform desk research, ad-hoc tasks and other related projects assigned
• (Candidates with less experience will be considered for Research Officer.)
