Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited is seeking a high‑calibre Senior QA professional to join the Risk Systems Assurance team under Operations Risk Platform & Analytics. The role focuses on strategic initiatives for new product launches and platform upgrades, requiring strong leadership of large QA efforts and deep financial domain knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Risk Management, Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
7+ years of relevant experience in financial organizations.
3+ years of leadership experience managing large QA teams or projects.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Familiar with Confluence, JIRA, etc.
Knowledge of equity or derivatives market is a must.

Responsibilities

Engage with business owners/users to understand, analyse and document requirements.
Review requirements and translate into test cases; design testing strategy and plan schedules.
Lead end‑to‑end system testing and QA for risk management systems with complex financial logic.
Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies with clear documentation.
Contribute to timely delivery aligned with project scope and expectations.
Establish testing standards across UAT, regression, UIT and go‑live readiness.
