Job summary

HKEX is seeking a high calibre senior QA professional to join the Risk Systems Assurance team under Operations Risk Platform & Analytics to lead testing for new product launches and platform upgrades.

This role requires strong financial domain knowledge, proven leadership in large-scale system testing, and the ability to collaborate with business, technology and external vendors to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or above) in a related field.
• 7+ years of QA/testing experience with 3+ years leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Confluence and JIRA.
• Proficient in Excel and VBA.
• Experience in risk management or financial domain.
• Experience in BA is a must.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business owners and users to understand, analyse and document requirements
• Review requirements and translate into test cases
• Design testing strategy, plan testing schedule, manage timeline and resource
• Lead end-to-end system testing and QA for risk management systems
• Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies with clear documentation
• Contribute to timely delivery of the project
• Establish testing standards across UAT, regression, UIT and go-live readiness
