Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Retail or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in retail with focus on trade marketing, category management, or commercial planning.
• Strong knowledge of promotional strategy, pricing mechanics, and retail execution.
• Experience handling complex, multi-layered promotion plans.
• Strong analytical capability in evaluating sales performance and promotion effectiveness.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and promotion planning analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly promotion plan aligned with marketing calendar, category strategies and vendor partnerships.
• Lead the planning of monthly promotion with complexity of multi-tiered promotion and overlapping campaigns.
• Acquire alignment across different stakeholders and obtain approval from leadership team upon applicable.
• Translate sales/margin objectives into actionable promotion plans and programs, including categories focus, pricing mechanics, and channel execution.
• Conduct sales and margin estimate analysis to ensure financial viability of monthly promotion plan.
• Work closely with commercial analytics, operations, marketing, and Off shelf display planning teams to align promotional goals with broader business objectives.
• Manage a single source of promotion database for cross department action and follow up.
• Support vendor negotiations and rebate settlements tied to promotional agreements.
• Monitor promotion effectiveness using KPIs such as uplift, ROI, and cannibalization impact with support from commercial analytics team.
• Conduct post-event analysis to refine future promotion strategies and improve targeting.
