Job summary

Global Executive Consultants Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator for a Semi-Government Body in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will monitor IT project progress, coordinate with internal teams, and maintain readiness trackers. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required. The role demands strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese, with knowledge of Putonghua as an advantage.

Qualifications

Job Duties

• Monitor and consolidate IT-related project progress against agreed plans.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams to obtain updates track actions. and clarify dependencies.
• Maintain IT systems and infrastructure readiness trackers and status summaries.
• Support and conduct site visits and inspections related to IT readiness. with proper documentation.
• Prepare periodic progress reports. dashboards, and summary materials for management review.
• Assist in tracking IT-related project expenditure and cost status for reporting purposes.
• Maintain IT-focused risk, issue, and dependency logs and support follow-up actions.
• Assist in compiling documentation and readiness records to support IT systems and infrastructure takeover activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Preferably with ITIL and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project coordination or systems and infrastructure management.
• Solid experience in managing and delivering IT projects, preferably in aviation industry.
• Concrete business knowledge and technical knowhow to understand various airport systems and aviation industry.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage.
