Job summary

Hong Kong Baptist University’s Academy of Visual Arts seeks a Senior Programme Officer/Programme Officer to manage the Undergraduate Programme of AVA, providing comprehensive administrative support for the BA (Hons) Visual Arts, including curriculum-related activities, quality assurance, admissions, course and exam scheduling, and exchange activities.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of post-qualification work experience preferably in programme administration/tertiary institutions.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Be a good team member with effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Immediate availability is highly desirable.

The appointee is expected to serve as a key administrator of the Undergraduate Programme of AVA.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract for up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
