Job summary

Biznet in Hong Kong is recruiting a qualified presales engineer for a mobile telecom solutions provider. You will own the presales process, craft proposals, and support the sales cycle on technical topics.

You will collaborate with project managers to ensure a smooth handover to post‑sales, delivery of solutions, and enhanced customer satisfaction across multi‑accounts, focusing on interconnect and roaming for regional mobile operators. Travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/EE/Telecom with at least 6 years presales or PM in wireless telecom.
• Excellent knowledge of IP networks: TCP/IP, ATM, 3G/UMTS, Frame relay; SS7 a must.
• Signaling and switching protocols: CAMEL, SGTRAN, TCAP, MAP, etc.
• Cellular network architecture: SGSN/HLR/VLR, Um/Abis interfaces, BSC, GSM.
• Presales for Big Data and CEM solutions experience required.
• Strong understanding of telecom software systems and architecture.
• Excellent English, Cantonese and Mandarin communication skills; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own the presales process and be the creator of proposals.
• Work with sales to support the sales cycle on technical topics.
• Ensure smooth handover to post-sales and assist delivery with projects.
• Provide strong customer support to raise satisfaction across multi-accounts.
• Deliver solutions for mobile operators focusing on interconnect and roaming.
