Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design and operate the firm's engineering platform, owning shared projects across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, provisioning, and developer tooling, collaborating with teams in New York and beyond.

You’ll move from design to implementation independently, build automation, improve observability, and respond to production issues, contributing to the reliability and performance of our global platform.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in systems or platform engineering.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes.
Experience developing automation for provisioning, deployment, or infrastructure operations.
Ability to design and deliver complex engineering work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership through production.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, global team.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and improve platform services and infrastructure used by engineering and investment teams globally.
Own significant pieces of shared engineering projects, from design through deployment and operation.
Build software and automation for provisioning, deployment, and day-to-day platform operations.
Design and improve Kubernetes clusters and the systems used to deploy internal services.
Contribute across cloud engineering, developer tooling, security, storage, and networking as projects require.
Improve the reliability and observability of platform services; investigate and resolve production issues.
