Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable cloud infrastructure and platform solutions. You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure cloud environments are secure and reliable.

The role emphasizes IaC, CI/CD, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and hands-on work with AWS/Azure/GCP, along with strong DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or sysadmin.
• Strong experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Linux/Windows server administration knowledge.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
• CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Networking knowledge: DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewalls, VPC/VNet.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for app deployment.
• Deploy and troubleshoot Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security across clouds.
• Collaborate with devs to improve scalability and reliability.
• Apply cloud security best practices: IAM, encryption, vulnerability remediation.
• Automate operational tasks and processes.
• Support incident management and disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain architecture diagrams and operational docs.
