HKEX Cloud Platform Services team is seeking a motivated Senior Cloud Services Engineer to drive design, deployment, and ongoing operation of cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate across development, infrastructure operations, and security to ensure stability, scalability, and security of HKEX cloud infrastructure.

The role requires expert Terraform, strong Python/Go/Bash skills, and hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

Competenze

• Minimum 4 years in SRE or DevOps managing high-availability production environments.
• Expert-level Terraform for large-scale infrastructure as code.
• Strong programming in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
• Understand cloud networking and CIS compliance standards.

Mansioni

• Maintain platform stability and high availability by defining and monitoring observability metrics across all cloud environments.
• Lead incident response and conduct RCA to implement long-term preventative measures.
• Develop and govern modular Terraform modules for standardized deployments.
• Identify and reduce manual toil by building automation scripts and tools.
• Build and manage observability stacks to provide deep visibility into system health.
• Enforce CIS Benchmarks through automated guardrails and security controls.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs using real-time demand insights.
