Job summary

MoneyHeroGroup is seeking a Senior Staff Platform Engineer to own the architecture and roadmap of our cloud platform. You will drive infrastructure decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, secure AWS-based systems across multiple environments.

Responsibilities include Terraform-based IaC, Kubernetes cluster management, GitOps with ArgoCD, and delivery of reliable CI/CD pipelines. Hybrid work model and strong English communication are expected.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of DevOps/Platform engineering experience with 5+ years Kubernetes design/build/operation.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC).
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows; Terraform proficiency.
• Strong networking fundamentals: VPC design, routing, DNS, load balancing, security.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and deployment pipeline automation.
• Observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Cloud security best practices including IAM and network security.
• Exposure to AI/LLM workloads in production; Azure/GCP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and roadmap of our cloud platform; set engineering standards.
• Design, implement and manage scalable AWS infrastructure with high availability.
• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for IaC across environments.
• Manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and containerized workloads at scale.
• Implement GitOps with ArgoCD and automate deployments to Kubernetes.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines; monitor deployments and tests.
• Oversee networking, DNS, load balancing, and security controls.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting; ensure incident response readiness.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve processes and cost efficiency.
