Job summary

MoneyHero Group is seeking a Senior Staff Platform Engineer to lead cloud architecture, design scalable AWS infrastructure, and helm Kubernetes operations across environments. The role emphasizes IaC, GitOps, and secure, cost-aware platform governance in a dynamic fintech setup.

You will mentor engineers, direct disaster recovery planning, and drive automation to support AI-powered products while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced market.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of DevOps/Platform engineering experience with 5+ years in Kubernetes design, build and operation.
• Deep hands-on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC) and cloud infra management.
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows; Terraform IaC strong.
• CSI/CD tooling and container orchestration at scale; Docker expertise.
• Strong networking, DNS, VPC design, load balancing and security.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and observability platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and roadmap of our cloud platform and set engineering standards.
• Design, implement and manage scalable, secure AWS infra with high availability.
• Develop IaC in Terraform for repeatable provisioning across environments.
• Manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and containerized workloads across environments.
• Operate GitOps with ArgoCD and automate deployments to Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Oversee networking, monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana/CloudWatch) and security controls.
• Support AI infrastructure and governance requirements for secure AI workloads.
• Collaborate with devs and SREs; drive cost optimisation and reliability improvements.
