Job summary

Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF seeks an Assistant Manager, Philanthropy to engage High-Value and Mid-Level donors and support our fundraising strategy.

You will lead donor communications, prepare proposals, and collaborate with teams to maximize donations, focusing on high-value outreach and prospect research.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ HV donor or related client relationship experience.
• University degree with analytical mind.
• Ability to produce tailored donor communications in writing.

Responsibilities

• Support HV and ML donor acquisition to maximize fundraising results.
• Conduct desk and market research to identify HV & ML prospects.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, reports and donors’ communications materials.
• Inter-departmental collaborations and other duties to support team's operations.

Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF was founded in 1986 and was established as an independent non-government organization to support UNICEF’s mission. We are now seeking a motivated Assistant Manager, Philanthropy to engage with High-Value and Mid-Level donors to support our fundraising strategy.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support new High-Value (HV) and Mid-Level donor acquisition to maximize fundraising results
• Support the team with desk and market research to identify HV & ML prospects
• Prepare presentation, proposal, reports and donors’ communications materials
• Inter-departmental collaborations and other duties to support team's operations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in High-Value donor or high-net-worth client relationship, business development, sales and channel marketing, or related experiences
• A university degree with an analytical mind
• Ability to produce high-quality written and communications materials tailored to high value donors
• Proficient in Canva and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communications skills with good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager position
