Job summary

The Hong Kong Red Cross is seeking a fundraising support officer to execute campaigns and provide day-to-day operational support for the Corporate and Trust & Foundation Partnership team.

You will assist in developing fundraising materials, coordinate donor engagement events, process donations, and maintain donor data while delivering excellent communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications.
• Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Putonghua.
• Experience in preparing promotional materials and campaigns is a plus.
• 2+ years’ relevant fundraising or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations across the Corporate and Trust & Foundation Partnership team.
• Assist in development and updating fundraising materials, including pitch decks, eDMs and other promotional collateral.
• Provide hands-on support for donor engagement events, including pre-event preparation and on-site logistics.
• Process donations and maintain accurate records, including donation receipts and thank-you letters.
• Maintain and update donors database, ensuring data accuracy; support prospect research and database expansion initiatives.
• Handle inquiries from donors, providing timely communication.
• Assist in coordinating internal and external meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Purpose

This role supports the Corporate and Trust & Foundation Partnership team by executing fundraising campaigns and providing day-to-day operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations across the Corporate and Trust & Foundation Partnership team
• Assist in development and updating of fundraising materials, including pitch decks, eDMs and other promotional collateral for Corporate and Trust & Foundation Partners
• Provide hands-on support for donor engagement events, including pre-event preparation and on-site event logistics
• Process donations and maintain accurate records, gincluding record donation receipt issuance and thank-you letters preparation
• Maintain and update Corporate and Trust & Foundation Donors database, ensuring data accuracy and completeness; support prospect research and database expansion initiatives
• Handle enquiries from Corporate and Trust & Foundation Donors, providing timely and clear communication
• Assist in coordinating internal and external meetings with various stakeholders and prepare meeting minutes
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree holder in related discipline, preferable in marketing, business or communications; or
• Completion of HKCEE/ HKDSE (5 subjects passes, including English & Chinese) equivalent or above non-degree holder with minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience
• Good team player with mature interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated with sense of responsibility, independent, and able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office applications and Chinese word processing
• Good command of English, Chinese and Putonghua, both written and oral
• Experience in preparing promotional materials, marketing copywriting, and supporting online/offline campaigns is a plus
• Prior experience working with corporates, Trust & Foundation or fundraising sector would be an advantage
