Job summary

Carat Hong Kong is seeking a capable Associate Media Planner to work with supervisors on strategic media plans, and to implement campaigns from briefing to post buy. You will support campaign execution, traffic tasks and KPI evaluation while collaborating with media partners to secure best pricing for clients.

The role emphasizes data insights, learning the evolving Hong Kong media landscape, and serving as the client's first point of contact in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or above; marketing/media may be advantageous; 2 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin a plus.
• Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
• Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with supervisor to develop strategic and integrated media planning & recommendations, implement media plans and monitor the whole process from briefing to post buy
• Support on campaign execution, inclusive of trafficking, monitoring campaign status and evaluating campaign performance based on KPIs and media efficiencies
• Conduct competitive analysis and regular reports and deduce actions from learnings and insights to achieve campaign KPI
• Work closely with external media partners and media vendors to ensure the best price is offered to the client through effective negotiation
• Learn to become client's first point of contact and handle the day-to-day management of the accounts
• Utilizing various proprietary planning tools to generate learning and insight from data
• Learn and adapt to the evolving media landscape in Hong Kong on an ongoing basis

Requirements

• Good PC skill, and proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office tools
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
• Ability to build relationship internally and externally
• Ability to cope with pressure and manage multi-task well in a fast-paced environment as an active team player
• Passionate in media innovation and data insights
• Self-learner, strong attention to detail and being numerate
