Job summary

China Mobile International Limited is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to perform comprehensive data analysis, create dashboards, and support overseas market operations. You will extract and model data from TRY/CRM, monitor KPIs, and prepare clear reports for management.

The role requires strong SQL/Python skills, expertise in Power BI/Tableau/FineBI, and fluency in English and Chinese. You will join a fast-paced telecom environment in Hong Kong with regional impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields.
• 5+ years of hands-on data analysis experience (telecom/ICT preferred; could be Market Strategy Analyst).
• Strong logical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with business and data sense.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau/FineBI, and advanced Excel; translating data into insights.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily/weekly/monthly operational data analysis, including extraction, cleaning, and modeling from business systems (TRY, CRM).
• Monitor and report on core performance metrics, identifying anomalies and trends.
• Track and analyze overseas market operations, conduct integrated capability assessments, and perform regular operational performance reviews.
• Independently prepare operational analysis materials (PPT/Word).
• Evaluate, track, and forecast performance KPIs for overseas units, proposing improvement recommendations.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for key business gaps and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Maintain database and ensure data accuracy; develop automated dashboards for real-time monitoring (Power BI/Tableau/FineBI).
• Validate data quality and consistency in market reports, aligning with group standards.

• Evaluate, track, and forecast performance KPIs for overseas units, proposing improvement recommendations.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for key business gaps (e.g., regional revenue shortfalls, product underperformance) and recommend data-driven solutions.

Data Visualization & Quality Assurance:

• Maintain database and ensure the accuracy of data in database.
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards (e.g., Power BI/Tableau/FineBI) for real-time business monitoring.
• Validate data quality and consistency in market reports, ensuring alignment with group standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis roles (telecom/ICT industry preferred), candidates with less experience might be considered as Market Strategy Analyst.
• Logical thinking and attention to details.
• Good communication skills, business and data sense.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Technical proficiency in data process (SQL/Python), data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau/FineBI), advanced Excel, ability to translate complex data into actionable insight.
