ASMPT in Hong Kong seeks a (Senior) Manager, PLM (Strategy & Projects) to architect and digitize the end-to-end PLM framework from concept to launch. You will drive KPI systems, reporting, and cross-functional alignment to accelerate time‑to‑market with consistent control.
The role requires 8–12 years in PLM/NPD, strong change leadership, and a background in consulting is a plus. Bachelor's in Engineering is essential; certifications are beneficial.
We are seeking a (Senior) Manager, PLM (Strategy & Projects) to architect, digitize, and continuously improve the end-to-end product lifecycle management framework — from concept to launch — ensuring that processes, data, and decision-making are structured, scalable, and insight-driven. This role will drive process simplification, digitalization, KPI systems, and management reporting capabilities to improve focus on product development priorities and bring products to market faster with greater consistency and control.
PLM Process Management: Assess current processes to identify redundancies, bottlenecks, and non value-added steps, and redesign workflows by eliminating unnecessary handoffs, consolidating steps, and standardizing procedures across teams.
PLM Digitization: Digitize PLM and NPD processes by designing digital solutions and workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams for design and testing of IT features, and implementing PLM tools and systems.
Data Analysis, Management Reporting & KPI: Define and analyze KPIs across the PLM life-cycle and NPD project management life-cycle, conduct root cause analysis on performance gaps, and deliver insights to leadership through management reports and executive dashboards.
Special Projects: Support special projects for the PLM function and R&D department, including end-to-end requirements management, pathfinding, patent management, digitalizing project management, and product configuration management.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional certifications in project management are a plus.
Around 8–12 years of experience in PLM, NPD, process design, or process digitization.
Able to analyze, redesign, and standardize PLM/NPD processes across the organization
Capable to design, implement, and drive adoption of digital PLM tools and workflows to reduce manual work, improved scalability, and stronger data integration across teams
Strong ability to influence, align, and drive change across cross-functional stakeholders
Background in consulting training is an advantage.
