Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager, Process Optimization to enhance operational controls and align processes with business objectives. The role focuses on AML/CTF compliance, regulatory alignment and improving efficiency across channels.

The successful candidate will design, implement and monitor controls for new banking products, review processes, and lead projects with a customer-centric mindset to deliver value for the bank and customers.

Qualifications

Job description

Senior Manager / Manager, Process Optimization

Maintain sound operations policies, procedures and systems in alignment with the business objectives of PBG with due consideration for striking a balance among efficiency, flexibility, control and customer service.

Design and implement adequate controls to ensure compliance with new or revised regulatory requirements.

Ensure operational risks of new banking products / services are adequately addressed and proper internal controls are in place.

Review the existing operations process and initiate system enhancements to streamline processes and improve operational effectiveness, efficiency and productivity.

Ensure smooth implementation of new policies and procedures, and launching of new products through branch channel.

Establish controls, monitor and ensure the compliance with AML Policy and the relevant procedures and guidelines issued by Compliance Department.

Develop procedures and manual for the department/group to get better implementation on AML Policy and the relevant procedures and guidelines when necessary; and

Identify possible weaknesses in operations controls and notify Compliance Department.

Act as a team lead on project basis as assigned by supervisor or department head.

Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Demonstrates initiative to go beyond the normal routine and look for new ways to add value.

Requirements:

Sound knowledge of banking practices, operations and procedures

Sound knowledge of system development, in particular eForm / online banking / mobile banking in support of business product / service delivery via remote channels

Experience of E2E process design, including establish sufficient manual / system control and monitor to meet both internal bank / external regulatory requirement / mitigate operational risk

Good analytical thinking and problem solving skill

Good interpersonal skill / communication skill

Embedded with customer centricity mindset
