Job summary

HR Plus is seeking a Senior Manager for the Central Technical Services team in Hong Kong. This role focuses on providing technical guidance for design, specifications, and tender documents for engineering systems within development projects, aligning with statutory requirements.

The candidate will stay abreast of new technologies, review designs, and collaborate with public utilities to explore partnerships while supporting business planning for the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Corporate membership in HKIE, IMechE, CIBSE or IET is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in design practices and project management with at least 5 years post-qualification.
• Familiarity with government ordinances and regulations related to engineering projects.
• Solid practical knowledge and experience in BIM.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and support for design, specifications, and tender documentation of engineering-related systems for development projects, ensuring statutory compliance.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices and implement them in relevant projects.
• Review development designs and tender documentation related to building services, energy optimization, and life cycle assessment in the project design stage.
• Conduct quality reviews of on-site workmanship to ensure adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with public utility companies to explore partnership opportunities in appropriate projects.
• Assist in preparing business plans for the division.
