Job summary

Dah Sing Financial Group is seeking a capable lending operations/BI analyst to prepare reports on loan applications, approvals and performance. You will coordinate with Sales, Credit and Operations to analyze drop-offs and ensure timely processing.

The role requires strong Excel skills, data review, and bilingual English/Chinese communication. Responsibilities include supporting portfolio initiatives, documenting requirements, conducting UAT, and producing meeting notes and process materials.

Qualifications

• Higher diploma or degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of in-house bank/finance experience in product management, lending operations, business analysis or project support.
• Good understanding of loan application and approval processes.
• Proficient Excel skills including PivotTables and lookup functions.
• UAT experience would be an advantage.
• Detail-minded, reliable and able to follow up on tasks.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written & spoken).

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular reports on loan applications, approvals, disbursements and sales performance.
• Analyse loan application drop-off reasons, and review cases with Sales, Credit and Operations.
• Monitor application conversion, pending cases and turnaround time, and highlight issues for follow-up.
• Support loan portfolio initiatives, including customer segmentation, call-list preparation and tracking of results.
• Assist with product and system enhancement projects, including user requirements, UAT and implementation.
• Follow up with relevant departments on outstanding tasks and project issues.
• Prepare meeting notes, presentation materials and process documents.
