Job summary

Moody's Ratings Commercial Operations in APAC seeks a senior KYC lead to oversee day-to-day customer due diligence across the region. You will ensure adherence to AML/KYC policies and drive continuous improvement in processes, data quality, and regulatory readiness.

You will manage a team, coordinate with Relationship Management, Legal and Compliance, and report on performance, while leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance workflow and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting/Business/Economics.
• 5+ years of AML/KYC experience with team leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in QA/checker roles within AML/KYC.
• Familiarity with APAC AML/KYC regulatory requirements and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a KYC sub-team within Commercial Operations for APAC.
• Oversee due diligence, risk assessments and enhanced reviews for high-risk cases.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to collect and review KYC information.
• Review and resolve screening alerts and documentation issues; escalate as needed.
• Manage case quality, service levels and team performance; mentor staff.
• Support regulatory exams, audits and testing; contribute to system enhancements.
• Help implement regulatory changes in partnership with Compliance and related teams.
• Maintain KYC procedures and deliver operational training.
• Support Sales and other stakeholders to improve customer experience and efficiency.
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.
