Moody's Corporation in Hong Kong seeks a senior KYC lead to head a sub-team within Commercial Operations across APAC. You will oversee day-to-day customer due diligence activities, manage risk assessments, and maintain complete KYC information for new and existing customers.

You will review screening alerts, manage quality and team performance, and mentor staff. Experience in AML/KYC, APAC regulations, and stakeholder coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AML/ KYC customer due diligence experience with team leadership responsibilities.
• Checker/QA role within AML/KYC, reviewing due diligence cases for accuracy and procedures.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC regulatory requirements in APAC; credit ratings/capital markets advantageous.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Korean advantageous.
• Strong Excel for case tracking and PowerPoint for updates.
• Ability to work independently across locations; experience with process improvements or UAT advantageous.
• Interest in AI concepts and ethical AI use to support workflow improvements.

Responsabilités

• Lead a KYC sub-team within Commercial Operations, overseeing day-to-day activities across APAC.
• Oversee customer due diligence for new and existing customers with risk assessments.
• Collect, review and maintain complete KYC information and documents.
• Review screening alerts and KYC issues; escalate significant matters as needed.
• Manage case quality, service levels, workload, ageing, and timely completion.
• Coach team members to strengthen KYC knowledge and decision-making skills.
• Act as operational contact for KYC across Commercial, Relationship Management, Legal and Compliance.
• Provide management reporting and support audits, regulatory examinations and testing.
• Lead process improvements and system enhancements; support regulatory changes with Compliance.
• Maintain KYC procedures and deliver training to KYC and Relationship Management teams.
• Support Sales and other stakeholders to improve customer experience and efficiency.
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.
