Job summary

Moody's Ratings seeks a Manager-Commercial Ops to lead the AML/KYC due diligence sub-team across APAC, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. You will manage risk assessments, DQ reviews, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with Compliance and Relationship Management.

The role requires 5+ years in AML/KYC with strong leadership, analytics, and stakeholder management, and fluency in English and Mandarin. AI tools and process improvements are encouraged.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in AML customer due diligence and financial services.
• Experience in checker/quality assurance role within AML/KYC.
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations in APAC.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English and Mandarin.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for reporting.
• Interest in AI tools to support workflow improvements.
• Experience across locations and cultures beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead a KYC sub-team within Commercial Operations across APAC.
• Oversee customer due diligence for new and existing customers with risk assessments.
• Collect, review and maintain complete KYC information and supporting documents.
• Review and resolve screening alerts and documentation exceptions.
• Manage case quality, service levels and team performance.
• Coach and develop team members in KYC knowledge and decision-making.
• Coordinate with Compliance for policy interpretation and regulatory changes.
• Provide regular management reporting and support audits and testing.
• Lead process improvements and system enhancements with Compliance.
• Deliver KYC procedures and operational training to teams.
• Support Sales and internal stakeholders to improve customer experience.
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.
