Job summary

Moody's Ratings in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Manager-Commercial Ops to lead a KYC sub-team across APAC and ensure AML/KYC policy adherence.

You will oversee due diligence, collect and review documentation, and drive process improvements across Commercial Operations, Relationship Management, Legal and Compliance. English and Mandarin proficiency required, with strong analytical and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of AML customer due diligence experience with leadership responsibilities.
Experience in a checker or QA role within AML/KYC; reviews for accuracy and adherence.
Sound AML/KYC knowledge and regulatory requirements in APAC markets; related tools a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead a KYC sub-team across APAC; ensure AML/KYC policy adherence.
Oversee due diligence for new and existing customers; risk and high-risk reviews.
Collect, review and maintain complete KYC information and documents.
Review screening alerts and KYC issues; escalate significant matters.
Manage case quality, service levels, workload and aging.
Coach and develop team members to strengthen KYC analysis.
Operate as KYC contact across Commercial, RM, Legal & Compliance.
Provide management reporting and support audits/regulatory exams.
Lead process improvements and system enhancements; support regulatory changes.
Maintain KYC procedures and deliver operational training.
Support Sales and internal stakeholders to improve customer experience.
Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.
