Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an IT Project Manager for a leading bank in Asia. You will manage end-to-end delivery of banking technology initiatives, from requirements through implementation and post-go-live support.

The role involves partnering with business users, operations, technology teams and vendors to drive execution, maintain plans and governance, manage risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT Project Management experience within banking or financial services.
• Experience delivering projects in payments, loans / lending, credit cards, brokerage / wealth management.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, project governance, and delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, including business users, technology teams, operations, and vendors.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery across banking technology initiatives.
• Partner with business users, operations teams, technology teams, and external vendors to drive project execution.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, status reports, and governance documentation.
• Monitor project scope, budget, dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Coordinate business requirement workshops, solution discussions, testing activities, and deployment planning.
• Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production release activities, and change management processes.
• Provide regular project updates and reporting to the Programme Manager and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance standards, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
