Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery in a financial services environment. You will develop and maintain project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful outcomes aligned with business objectives.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, excellent communication and leadership skills, plus a track record of delivering large-scale technology projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT or related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience, preferably in financial services.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale technology projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate with senior leadership.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Solid knowledge of project governance, budgeting, risk management, and delivery methodologies.
• PMP/PMI or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery including scope, budget, timelines, resources and risks.
• Develop and maintain project plans ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Gather requirements with stakeholders and define project objectives.
• Lead development teams to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs.
• Apply project management and SDLC methodologies throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage testing activities including test planning, defect management and UAT.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Present progress, risks and recommendations to senior management and sponsors.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks while balancing competing priorities.
