Job summary

KOS International Limited is seeking an IT Manager to lead platform enhancement, performance monitoring, and vendor management for web platforms in Hong Kong. This role acts as the key owner driving projects, coordinating external vendor teams, and aligning technical capabilities with business goals.

The successful candidate will have 8+ years in web/mobile development with strong vendor management, CMS/API integration, and data-driven mindset. Cantonese fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience in web/mobile application development and extensive Vendor Management experience.
• Strong background in customer facing application, back-end infrastructure oversight, and platform performance.
• Experience in integrating CMS platforms with APIs, CRM, DAM, search or analytics tools.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI is a big plus.
• High ownership, self-motivated, and passionate about continuous improvement and driving change.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to work effectively with non-technical teams and external partners.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese is a must).

• Platform Enhancement & Strategy: Drive back-end architecture enhancements, system optimizations, and platform modernization for web app projects.
• Vendor & Project Management: Manage end-to-end vendor deliverables, infrastructure development, contracts, SLAs, and technical roadmaps.
• Data & Performance Monitoring: Oversee back-end data analytics, platform performance tracking, and integration of KPI gateways/dashboards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and business teams to align technical capabilities with commercial and operational goals.
• Innovation & R&D: Proactively research, test, and adopt emerging technologies to keep platforms competitive and resilient.

Our client is a well-known enterprise in Hong Kong and they are seeking a proactive, forward-thinking IT Manager to lead the ongoing enhancement, performance, and vendor management for their web platforms. While this is an Individual Contributor role, you will act as the key owner driving project execution, managing external vendor teams, and collaborating closely with internal business stakeholders to continuously modernize and scale their digital ecosystem.
