Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Innovation: Introduce novel technological concepts and creative digital strategies to drive business growth; proactively keep executive leadership updated on technical milestones.
• Team Leadership: Deputy Chai / Chair the IT team, mentor and guide a team of 10+ professionals across multiple pillars – Digital Applications, IT Operations, Infrastructure and Procurement.
• AI & Automation: Architect and deploy advanced workflow automation initiatives, specifically focusing on orchestrating ecosystems of multiple interconnected AI agents.
• Application & Platform Governance: Modernize historical frameworks toward agile, product‑centric delivery models while ensuring stable cloud application frameworks and infrastructure networks.
• Vendor & Fiscal Mastery: Serve as the ultimate authority over external partners and MSPs; confidently challenge vendors to ensure on‑time, high‑quality technical delivery while managing the IT CAPEX/OPEX budget.

Key Requirements

• Education: University degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines.
• Experience: 10+ years in Information Technology (with a strong emphasis on the application side), including 4+ years leading multi‑disciplinary technology teams (preferably at Manager or Senior Manager level with 8–10+ members).
• Technical Depth: A robust development or application architecture background, combined with mastery of hybrid/cloud setups (Azure, GCP, AWS) and systems engineering.
• AI Expertise: Demonstrated track record of launching data‑centric projects, workflow automation engines, or multi‑agent AI configurations.
• Vendor Governance: Exceptional commercial negotiation skills with proven experience auditing, challenging, and governing MSP and SaaS contracts.
• Industry & Frameworks: Candidates from any industry background are welcome; prior experience in enterprise environments is preferred; familiarity with ITIL, ISO 27001, and DevOps/Agile methodologies.
• Language: Excellent command in Cantonese and English.
• Personality: Visionary, innovative, and proactive leader who can generate new business ideas from the IT side, roll up sleeves to build new things, and lead by example.
