Job summary

The Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA) in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Technical Services Manager to oversee enterprise platform support across mainframe, Unix/Linux, databases, middleware and container platforms. You will ensure on-time delivery and rigorously apply controls per BEA standards.

Lead multiple infra teams (20+), drive platform modernization, security, and automation in line with BEA's business strategy, and contribute to budgeting and investment proposals.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Over 12 years in IT with at least 5 years in IT management.
• Solid experience across IT infrastructure platforms including mainframe, Unix/Linux, databases, middleware, and container platforms.
• Knowledge of platform security, virtualization, vulnerability and patch management, monitoring and observability.
• Experience in private/public cloud management is an advantage.
• Strong project management, leadership, and stakeholder management skills; able to lead large teams.
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, and/or CSM/PSM are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and control delivery of IT infrastructure services across domains.
• Lead multiple infrastructure teams to ensure performance, resilience and security of IT systems.
• Develop department budgets, resource planning and infrastructure investment proposals.
• Prepare strategic plans and proposals for IT deployments including modernization and automation roadmaps.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and risk controls (e.g., HKMA).
• Establish and enforce standards for configuration management, monitoring, and patch management.
• Develop staff through cross-training and succession planning.
