Job summary

Our client in Hong Kong seeks a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support business users, manage Tier 2/3 IT issues and collaborate with regional IT teams and vendors. The role combines user-facing technical support with day-to-day infrastructure operations in a Microsoft-centric environment.

The ideal candidate has 6–9 years in end-user computing or infrastructure support, strong Windows, M365, AD/Entra ID experience and familiarity with Azure, Intune and VPN.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline; equivalent practical experience.
• Around 6-9 years of experience in end-user computing, systems administration or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, AD and Entra ID.
• Experience with endpoint management tools such as Intune, SCCM or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Exposure to Windows Server, virtualization, backup, networking basics, VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS and DHCP.
• Exposure to Azure/cloud platforms, firewall admin or cybersecurity operations is an advantage.
• Experience supporting VIP users, meeting-room/AV tech in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, ownership mindset and clear communication to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 IT support to business users, including senior management and VIPs.
• Troubleshoot Windows devices, M365, meeting-room tech and business apps.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding, device deployment, provisioning and asset management.
• Support executive meetings, video conferencing, AV equipment and events.
• Administer core IT services: AD, Entra ID, M365, endpoint management, file services, backup and virtualization.
• Coordinate with network, security and MSPs for issues.
• Support day-to-day Azure and cloud operations, including monitoring and access management.
• Assist with patching, endpoint security and security baseline activities.
• Support IT projects like upgrades, office moves and new deployments.
• Coordinate with external vendors on maintenance and hardware support.
