Job summary

Wisers Information Limited is seeking an experienced Senior HR Officer to manage full-spectrum HR operations in Hong Kong and regional HR activities across Mainland China and Taiwan.

You will lead recruitment, payroll, MPF, taxation, insurance, and HR projects while partnering with assigned departments to align HR initiatives with business goals and cross-border needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR generalist experience including recruitment and C&B functions.
• Solid knowledge of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and related legislation.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin for cross‑border communication.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit end-to-end recruitment including posting, screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding.
• Oversee payroll, MPF, taxation, insurance, benefits and HR administration; support annual HR exercises.
• Act as HR business partner for designated HK departments and align HR initiatives with business goals.
• Support regional functions across HK, Mainland China and Taiwan with group reports.

About The Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Officer to support full-spectrum HR operations in Hong Kong and regional HR activities across Mainland China and Taiwan. This role will be involved in talent acquisition, compensation & benefits administration, employee lifecycle management, and HR projects. It is ideal for an HR generalist with solid operational experience who is looking to broaden their regional exposure and develop their HR partnering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, offer negotiation and onboarding.

Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll, MPF, taxation, insurance, employee benefits, and other day-to-day C&B operations while ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Assist in annual HR exercises, including performance reviews, salary reviews, budgeting, audits, and insurance renewals.

HR Business Partnering: Act as dedicated HRBP for designated departments in the HK office, aligning HR initiatives with business goals.

Group & Regional Support: Support cross-border regional functions, consolidate group-wide HR reports, and assist with group-level projects across HK, Mainland China, and Taiwan.

Team Guidance: Work closely with HR team members to ensure smooth HR operations and maintain service quality. Provide guidance and support to junior team members where appropriate.

About You

Core Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

At least 4 years of HR generalist experience, covering recruitment and C&B functions.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on compliance with the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and employment-related legislation.

Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to effectively handle cross-border regional communication.

Strong baseline in HK C&B operations (payroll, MPF, taxation, insurance) with sharp numerical accuracy and proficiency in HR systems.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a mature and well-organized approach.

Preferred Qualities

AI Readiness: Interested in leveraging AI and digital tools to improve HR efficiency and employee experience.

Regional Knowledge: Exposure to HR practices in Mainland China, Taiwan, or Macau would be an advantage.
