Job summary

WeLab, a leading pan-Asian fintech in Hong Kong, seeks a seasoned Business Development leader to drive new-to-bank growth and partnerships. You’ll own multi-channel customer acquisition, work with external networks, and present to partners and clients across Cantonese, English, and Mandarin contexts.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations to scale acquisition and optimize campaigns for sustainable growth in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development, acquisition or related roles within financial services
• Proven track record in customer acquisition and business growth through external networks
• Strong hunter mentality with ability to originate opportunities

Responsibilities

• Drive New-to-Bank growth by owning customer acquisition through external channels
• Activate acquisition opportunities through partners and networks to generate leads
• Represent the bank externally with compelling presentations and pitches
• Build and expand acquisition channels with new opportunities and collaborations
• Lead high-impact acquisition campaigns like roadshows and events
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Digital, Operations and Partnerships
• Monitor performance and optimize campaigns for better outcomes
