Job summary

A growing SFC-regulated investment manager in Central, Hong Kong, seeks an experienced fund operations professional to join a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily trade processing, cash reconciliations, NAV file preparation, and acting as the primary contact for managers, primes, custodians, and fund administrators. Strong 10–15 years hedge fund experience and VBA proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 10–15 years middle/back-office experience within a Hedge Fund/Buy-Side Asset Management environment.
• Strong background in Fund Accounting and portfolio operations.
• Proficiency in VBA is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily trade processing, cash reconciliations, and overall workflow for a portfolio of investment funds.
• Prepare and review Net Asset Value (NAV) files accurately on a regular basis.
• Act as the primary point of contact for investment managers, prime brokers, custodians, and fund administrators regarding trade execution, settlement issues, and daily operations.
• Monitor daily cash and trade activities, providing timely reports directly to Portfolio Managers.
• Lead investigation and resolution for any trade, cash, or position breaks with internal and external parties.
• Support senior leadership on strategic initiatives, including system implementations and process optimization.
