Job summary

Standard Chartered seeks an experienced application support professional to manage BAU support for our FX and Fixed Income ecommerce platform. The candidate will work closely with Trading and Sales Desks, prioritize incidents, and drive rapid resolution while coordinating releases and infrastructure delivery.

The role requires strong Linux, Oracle SQL, and FIX Protocol skills, with a focus on automation, monitoring, and risk-aware operational practices in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production support in financial services, preferably front-office trading platforms.
• Experience supporting FX and Fixed Income trading platforms.
• Strong incident management and problem-resolution capabilities.
• Background in Linux, scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Oracle SQL for data queries and analysis.

Responsibilities

• BAU application support for the FX/Fixed Income ecommerce platform.
• Collaborate with Trading and Sales Desks to resolve issues and support trades.
• Drive high severity incidents to resolution and perform RCA.
• Coordinate releases and infrastructure delivery with multiple teams.
• Proactively identify automation/efficiency opportunities and implement them.
