Job summary

CLSA in Hong Kong seeks a Lead Support Analyst for the Global FIX connectivity team to manage FIX connectivity requests from clients, vendors, brokers and exchanges.

You will oversee testing, onboarding, and certification of FIX participants, work with infra and trading desks across Asia/US/Europe, and ensure smooth DMA/DSA and exchange workflow. The role requires cross-regional liaison and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 3+ years proficiency in FIX technology with certification and client onboarding.
• Experience with Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines.
• Strong knowledge of Cash Equity, Swap, Futures & Options in DMA/DSA, Agency and Program FIX.
• Understanding of trade flow systems for DMA/DSA in ID markets (CONNECT, Korea, Taiwan, India).
• Knowledge of Asian exchange rules.
• Understanding of OMS like Fidessa, Flextrade.
• Understanding of front-end systems like Bloomberg, ITG.
• Experience with FIX testing tools like VeriFIX.
• Experience with FIX monitoring tools like Kibana, Grafana, Logstash, Elastic search, ITRS.
• Exposure to change & incident management tools like SNOW.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and communicate well with Vendors/Traders.

Responsibilities

Position Description

This role is part of the Global FIX connectivity team responsible for handling FIX connectivity requests from clients, vendors, brokers and exchanges.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Daily trading operations support for various trading desks of High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities, SWAP desk and F&O desk.
• FIX testing & certifications of FIX clients, FIX vendors, FIX brokers, internal & external dark & lit pools & exchanges.
• Work with infra teams to set up connectivity between external parties with the firm and maintain FIX network relationship.
• Lead Support Analyst will also be working in shifts to support Asia / US and Europe markets.
• Lead Support analyst will be working in close with FIX team in CLSA Pune, US and Australia.
• Perform other trade support functions when needed.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline(s).
• Minimum 3 years proficiency in FIX technology with good experience in FIX certification and FIX client on-boarding, preferably in Broker / Dealer environment.
• Proven experience in Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines.
• Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business, SWAP, Future & Options business in a DMA/DSA, Agency and Program FIX environment.
• Good understanding of Trade Flow systems needed for DMA/DSA trade booking especially in ID markets like CONNECT, Korea, Taiwan and India.
• Good knowledge of exchange rules of Asian markets.
• Good understanding of Order Management Systems like Fidessa, Flextrade etc.
• Good understanding of Front end systems like Bloomberg, ITG etc.
• Good exposure in FIX testing tools like VeriFIX.
• Good exposure in FIX monitoring tools like KIBANA, Grafana, Logstash, Elastic search, ITRS, etc.
• Good exposure in change & incident management tools like SNOW.
• Must be self-starter and be able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with Vendors and Traders.

Technology skills

• Knowledge in FIX protocol (FIX versions 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 etc), and automated tools.
• Knowledge in ORACLE (user level).
• Knowledge in Unix and Shell scripting.
• Programming knowledge of Java, Python will be value addition.
• Awareness of SRE concepts is an added advantage.
