Job summary

DFI Retail Group in Hong Kong is seeking a financial analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and planning across the division. You will provide timely reports and explain variances to improve business operations.

You will assist with month-end close, CAPEX planning, store-related analyses, and cross-functional data analysis, contributing actionable insights and ensuring timely ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in management accounting, business performance analysis or financial modelling.
• Experience in retail or FMCG industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to build strategy by budgeting, forecasting, and planning for DFI business divisions.
• Aid in month-end closing by providing timely reports and explaining variances compared to benchmarks for improving business operations.
• Contribute to the finance team in a variety of activities, including regular audits, feasibility studies for store expansion, refurbishments, lease renewals, as well as store performance analysis and CAPEX planning.
• Coordinate with other business functions to collect and analyze data, offering recommendations and insights to enhance business operations.
• Address ad hoc analysis and inquiries timely, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Do you have experience in management accounting, business performance analysis or financial modelling?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related fields.


• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in management accounting, business performance analysis or financial modelling. A less experienced candidate will be considered as Financial Analyst.


• Experience in retail or FMCG industry is an advantage.


• Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus.


• High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.


• High self-motivation and pressure resistance, strong learning ability and team spirit.
