Job summary

DFI Retail Group is seeking a finance-focused professional to partner with the yuu Rewards and Digital teams, guiding budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning. You will evaluate investments, monitor spend and drive value realisation while developing KPI dashboards and insights for management.

The role requires 4–6 years in FP&A or related fields, with strong Excel/Power BI skills, ERP experience and a proven ability to communicate complex data clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
• CPA, CA, ACCA or CIMA qualification preferred.
• 4–6 years of FP&A, Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering or Audit.
• Experience in Digital, Loyalty, eCommerce or Technology-enabled businesses is advantageous.
• Experience with ERP systems, finance processes, accounting workflows and reporting structures; exposure to finance transformation or process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics tools preferred.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity and business analysis.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance partner for yuu Rewards and Digital teams.
• Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range planning.
• Partner with product owners and project managers to evaluate investments, monitor spend and track value realisation.
• Provide financial guidance to stakeholders and challenge assumptions to support better decision-making.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reviews, highlighting key trends, risks and opportunities.
• Deliver variance analysis, scenario modelling and actionable business insights.
• Develop KPI dashboards and performance reporting to improve visibility and accountability.
• Translate financial and operational data into clear business insights and recommendations for management.
• Support month-end close, accruals, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Manage project financial governance, ensuring accurate tracking of budgets, forecasts and actual spend.
• Collaborate with Shared Services to ensure accurate accounting and reporting for the loyalty business.
• Design, implement and continuously improve finance processes, system workflows and operating procedures to ensure accurate financial recording, accounting treatment and management reporting.
• Partner with Finance, Product, Technology and Operations teams to establish appropriate master data structures, cost allocations, project tracking and reporting hierarchies within systems.
• Ensure new products, campaigns, commercial initiatives and digital investments are set up correctly within finance and operational systems to enable accurate accounting, reporting and performance measurement.
• Identify control gaps, data quality issues and process inefficiencies, and drive remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leverage AI tools and analytics to automate reporting, streamline forecasting and improve decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to simplify finance processes through automation, workflow redesign and data-driven solutions.
• Champion AI adoption and productivity improvements across planning, reporting, analysis and financial controls.
• Support the development of scalable digital finance capabilities and best practices as the yuu business evolves.

Do you have experience inFP&A?
