DCH Group is seeking a commercially minded Senior Finance Manager in Hong Kong to partner with management and drive financial leadership for growth and operational excellence. You will influence decisions, monitor performance metrics, and lead budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analyses across the business.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in commercial finance, HKICPA qualification, and a proven track record in FMCG or distribution. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related disciplines.
• Qualified Accountant of HKICPA or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in commercial finance with audit experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, or consumer products preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into insights.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Business Unit leaders, Commercial and Operations teams to provide financial insight and support sound decisions.
• Monitor revenue, gross margin, cost, profitability, customer and service-performance indicators; highlight trends and risks.
• Analyze performance against budget, forecast and prior-year results; recommend actions to improve revenue and margin.
• Produce management reports, dashboards and performance reviews for senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
• Lead or support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-range plans and monthly reporting.
• Review pricing proposals, contracts, tenders, and new-business opportunities for profitability.
• Develop financial models and business cases to assess revenue, costs, investments and working capital.
• Conduct customer/product profitability reviews, including cost-to-serve and margin analysis.
• Provide insights on trade promotions, distributor margins, inventory cycles and logistics costs.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve productivity and service profitability.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, reporting automation and performance-management processes.
• Lead and mentor a finance team / Shared service center; strengthen controls and data quality.

We are seeking a commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to serve as a business partner to the management team. The incumbent will provide financial leadership and insights to support business growth, operational excellence, and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

1. Business Partnering & Commercial Performance

• Partner closely with Business Unit leaders, Commercial, and Operations teams to provide financial insight and support commercially sound decisions.
• Monitor key revenue, gross margin, cost, profitability, customer and service-performance indicators; highlight trends, risks and opportunities.
• Analyze performance against budget, forecast and prior-year results, and recommend actions to improve revenue growth, margin delivery and cost control.
• Produce clear management reports, dashboards and business-performance reviews for senior leadership, converting data into practical commercial recommendations

2. Financial Planning, Pricing & Profitability

• Lead or support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-range plans and monthly financial-performance reporting for the business unit.
• Review pricing proposals, customer contracts, tenders, and new-business opportunities to ensure sustainable profitability and target returns.
• Develop financial models and business cases to assess revenue, costs, investments, working capital and profitability under different business scenarios.
• Conduct customer, product profitability reviews, including cost-to-serve analysis, margin bridge analysis and cold-chain logistics cost assessments.
• Provide commercial insights on trade promotions, distributor margins, inventory cycles, and logistics costs.

3. Operational Improvement & Strategic Support

• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to identify opportunities to improve productivity, warehouse utilization, transportation efficiency and service profitability.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reporting automation and performance-management processes to improve decision-making speed and accuracy.

4. Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a finance team / Shared service center in handling accounting, AR, AP, and treasury.
• Strengthen financial controls, reporting standards and data quality, ensuring commercial results reconcile accurately with financial P&L reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related disciplines.
• Qualified Accountant of HKICPA or other equivalent professional qualifications.
• At least 10 years of experience in commercial finance with audit experience.
• Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, or consumer products industries is highly preferred.
• Proven experiences in leading changes and coaching subordinates to support business decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
