Job summary

RBC is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager for Financial Intermediaries in Hong Kong. You will spearhead client relationships with licensed MFOs, EAMs, and fund managers, driving revenue growth and market expansion across HK and Taiwan.

The role requires deep product expertise, senior-level network, and a strong track record in FIM/business development. You will collaborate with the Head of FIM Desk APAC to deliver world-class custody, settlement, and banking solutions while maintaining

Qualifications

Minimum 8–10 years in financial services with 5+ years in FIM/EAM or intermediary banking.
Established network of licensed MFOs, EAMs, and fund managers in Hong Kong.
Proven track record in business development and client acquisition in FIM/intermediary banking.
Deep knowledge of HK regulatory requirements including SFC/HKMA and AML/KYC.
Familiarity with Taiwan regulatory requirements for financial intermediaries.
Strong FIM product knowledge: structured products, offshore fund structures, and cash management.

Responsibilities

Originate and acquire new FIM clients in HK and Greater China.
Deepen client relationships and cross-sell across RBC product suites.
Establish RBC as preferred partner for financial intermediaries.
Develop HK and Taiwan FIM markets through events and networking.
Drive business targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Act as a strategic bridge between RBC and local investment-management community.
