Job summary

The Peak Tram and The Peak Tower is seeking a Building Services Engineer to support our Building Services Team at The Peak Complex. You will work on a variety of engineering and maintenance projects and help develop leadership experience in managing teams and contractors.

You will oversee fit-out and A&A works, manage daily operations of buildings and facilities, and ensure compliance with Hong Kong regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication in English and Cantonese.
• Registered Electrical Worker Grade B(0) or above preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fitting out and alteration & addition (A&A) works, including retail-to-F&B conversion projects.
• Manage daily operations and maintenance of company buildings, physical plants, and engineering facilities, ensuring cost-effective performance in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Manage the Building Services team, including budgeting, inventory reporting, staff rostering, and sustainability data reporting.
• Monitor front-line productivity, inventory levels, and preventive planned maintenance completion through the Yardi system.
• Oversee all maintenance contractors and develop monthly and annual maintenance programs, while preparing regular engineering, utility, and repair and maintenance (R&M) reports with analytical insights when required.
• Handle the renewal of maintenance contracts and prepare quotations for routine repair and maintenance (R&M) services.
• Promote and support the implementation of CSR initiatives within daily operations and work activities; monitor and verify utility consumption data to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Ensure timely renewal of electrical and mechanical system certificates and licenses, in full compliance with Hong Kong’s statutory regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and engineering system breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.

General Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with proven experience in team supervision and contractor coordination
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
• Registered Electrical Worker Grade B(0) or above is preferred
