Job summary

Delken Group Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our client’s team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on planning, executing and managing building maintenance, A&A projects, and E&M installations across large facilities.

The ideal candidate brings a degree in facilities/building services engineering, 7 years’ relevant experience, and a Registered Electrical Worker license. Proficiency in AutoCAD and bilingual English/Chinese is required for effective on-site supervision.

Qualifications

• Degree in facilities management, mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
• 7 years' relevant work experience in building repair/maintenance and facilities management.
• Registered Electrical Worker License “B” or above.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and computer skills; fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage building maintenance works, repair, renovation, fitting-out and A&A projects, mainly MVAC & E&M installation, from award through completion.
• Handle large scale A&A works in design, installation, testing and commissioning of E&M systems; prepare tender documents and contracts.
• Supervise on-site contractors; check quality and progress to ensure workmanship and output meet standards.
• Support the manager to supervise on-site facilities management team and service contractors for daily repair and maintenance of a sizable industrial building.
• Prepare budget management and cost control documentation.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as directed by Manager and Projects & Building Services Department.

Job description

Our client is a Leading Property company, engaged in property investment, rental and development, estate management and hotel operations. They are currently seeking for a Senior Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Plan, execute and manage building maintenance works, repair, renovation, fitting-out and A&A projects, mainly of MVAC & F.S. installation, from award through completion

Handle large scale A&A works in design, installation, testing and commissioning of E&M system including preparation of tender document and contract administration

Supervise the contractors on site and check quality and progress of work, to ensure quality workmanship and output

Support the manager to supervise the on-site facilities management team and service contractors to oversee the daily operation in repairing and maintenance works of a sizable industrial building

Prepare budget management and cost control documentation

Any ad-hoc task directed by Manager and Projects & Building Services Department

Requirements:

Degree in acilities Management/ Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Engineering or related discipline

7 years' relevant work experience in building repair & maintenance and facilities management or related field

Preferably worked in E&M consultant, developer or property management firms

Registered Electrical Worker License “B” Holder or above

Proficient in AutoCAD, computer skills, speaking and writing English and Chinese

Well versed with local regulations (EMSD / FSD / Minor Works System)

Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently with good time management
